Η έκθεση I’ ll be your mirror on the wall, είναι μια ομαδική έκθεση που
The group exhibition "I’ll be your mirror on the wall" brings together new creations by seven international visual artists, each crafted specifically for this project. Conceived as a collaborative visual spectacle, the show weaves together a immersive sound installation and a varied body of artworks—across diverse mediums and artistic idioms—born out of a shared reflection on the delicate interplay between humanity and nature through the prism of postmodern ecology, biology, and relentless climate change. The exhibition draws its essence from the fluid realm of "Liquid Modernity"—a vision articulated by Polish sociologist Zygmunt Bauman to depict a postmodern landscape governed by instantaneity and hyper-connectivity. Yet, beneath this seamless surface, the ties binding humanity to the natural world erode, laying bare the fragility of an individualistic society drifting toward an increasingly AI-driven horizon.
Set within St. George Park, Trocadero—a vibrant public sanctuary in Paleo Faliro—the exhibition illuminates the intricate, deeply entangled weave of nature and human existence, questioning our capacity to coexist, transform, and evolve alongside one another.
- How can we reaffirm the sense of belonging and community, forging bonds of solidarity that reach beyond the human sphere?
- What if we honored the sentient intelligence of animals, plants, and living ecosystems with the same reverence we grant to intelligent machines?
Grounded in these inquiries, the participating artists offer singular visual responses, crafting works deeply attuned to both the premise and the living character of the site. Conceived as an immersive audiovisual voyage—akin to a cinematic experience—the exhibition invites visitors to step beyond passive spectatorship into an evocative atmosphere, becoming an integral part of the space and leaving their own subtle trace upon it.
