“The salvation of the soul”: A tribute concert to the most famous Greek lyricist Lina Nikolakopoulou. The lyricist read out some of her verses to the public. Tuesday 14 November 2017, at 19.30, Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Rhodes (Evangelismos). The Municipality of Rhodes, the International Writers and Translators’ Center of Rhodes and the “Rodion Pedia” School organized the world premiere of the oratorio for narrators, choir, soloists and piano written and composed by the poet Dimitris I. Brouhos based on the life of Konstantinos from Hydra, the New Martyr, entitled “For a burning soul… Konstantinos from Hydra, the New Martyr.” Narrators: Grigoris Valtinos, Dimitris I. Brouhos. Soloists: Mary Doutsi, Fokion Barbokas.
