
October 17th is the International Day of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, a day dedicated to promoting and safeguarding the living heritage of communities around the world

In celebration of this special occasion, let’s revisit the “Cultural Diversity in the Black Sea region” infographic, which includes data on cultural diversity and tangible and intangible heritage from the thirteen BSEC countries.
The infographic was published by #ICBSS on 27 May 2024, and the sources used to create it were last accessed on 14–15 May 2024. As of 17 October 2025, the thirteen BSEC countries have:
- 104 elements on the #UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists
- 121 World Heritage Sites
