In what situations can organisations, companies and cooperatives use Sociocracy?
- When the founders, owners or pioneers of an organisation increasingly feel the need to share their vision and responsibilities and take on the challenge of participatory governance.
- In humanitarian organisations, co-housing communities, cooperatives, free schools and other initiatives seeking organisational models in which no one is placed above others, while still enabling effective consent-based decision-making.
- Wherever people want to move away from unproductive group meetings and lengthy discussions in boards and assemblies, and instead make decisions together in a more effective and efficient way.
