From 10 to 12 September 2021, the third and final National Meeting of the Greek Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation under the 2019–2021 three-year programme took place in Rhodes. It was the Network’s first in-person meeting in almost two years, making the opportunity to reconnect, exchange ideas and jointly plan the next period particularly meaningful.
The opening session was held at the Auberge de France, with the participation of Network members, local organisations and representatives of institutions in Rhodes. The first day also included the presentation of the WELCOMMON Hostel award as the best initiative of 2019–2020 and the announcement of the results of the Solidart photography competition.
During the second day, members presented the work of their organisations and reviewed the activities carried out during the 2019–2021 period. Particular attention was given to the experience of the COVID-19 pandemic and to the role of online tools, which helped increase participation and communication among members while complementing, rather than replacing, in-person meetings.
A major part of the meeting was dedicated to planning the Network’s next three-year period through group workshops and participatory discussion. Key priorities included stronger networking with other National Networks, more frequent online meetings, and additional training and good-practice exchange opportunities.
