The second National Meeting under the 2019–2021 three-year plan of the Greek Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation took place on Friday, 9 October 2020.
This time, the National Meeting could not take place in Kalamata as originally planned and as we had hoped, due to the unprecedented circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. For reasons of health and safety, the meeting was therefore held online via Zoom.
It was a unique and productive meeting, featuring interesting contributions and proposals. The online format also gave us the opportunity to meet and engage with members who would otherwise have been unable to travel to Kalamata.
To make the meeting more interactive, practical and engaging, we used Google Jamboard for the first time. This interactive and collaborative online tool, designed as a digital whiteboard, enabled participants to share notes, thoughts and ideas freely without needing to be in the same physical space.
Approximately 40 member organisations attended and actively participated in the four-hour meeting.
