Biderbost, Boscan & Rochin (BB&R), in collaboration with Academy of Entrepreneurship and Momentum World, developed the project: "Helping the Helpers".The project, that involved teachers and youth workers from Greece, Spain and the UK, sought one main goal: that participants learn how to encourage civic and European citizenship skills among new generations of Europeans. In order to achieve this, the project developed an ambitious training programme among 18 teachers and youth workers from Greece, Spain and the UK. Through non-formal education and experience based-learning, participants learned more about 5 civic competences: political knowledge, political attention, political participation, political efficacy and political tolerance. Another objective of the course was the exchange of best practices among the participants. This exchange allowed them to find common ground between the three countries, in order to developed projects to encourage civic skills among new generations of Europeans. In this regard, the participants were able to put in practice the new methodologies and tools, both analog and through ICT, that they learned during the course. The web page of the project is: http://helpingthehelpers.euFinally, the project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, with the support of the Youth Institute of Spain (INJUVE) and the Youth Institute of Castilla and Leon.
