Wednesday 23 April 2017, at 20.00, IWTCR events hall. On the occasion of the World Book Day (23rd o fApril) the IWTCR took part in a series of activities entitled “I read and I change” taking place all over Greece under the patronage of the Greek Ministry of Culture. In particular, the IWTCR organized a prose reading marathon - Readathon during which selected novels from the Dodecanesian, Greek and world literature were read aloud. Participants in the Readathon: a) members of the “Exeresis” theatre club [Exception] –Vasilis Evangelakis, Sofia Orfanidi, Christina Kitsai, Demetra Kotlida, b) members of the Creative Reading and Writing Workshop “To Kohyli” [The Shell] –Panos Drakopoulos, Anastasia Zeppou, Susana Ioakimidou, Nikos Papavasiliou, Augustinos Tsirimokos, Maria Tyradelli, c) members of the IWTCR creative writing club “Ageri Grafis” [Wind of writing] – Nikos Kondoutheos, Evangelia Mazarakou, Phaedra Malandri, Litsa Moskiou, Roula Skoumiou, Grigoris Tsiogkas, Mary Chatziantoniou, Irene Chioti, Kaliope Christou, d) members of the IWTCR Reading Club – Maria Aivazi-Zagora, Fotini Antoniadi, Maria Arka, Titsa Papakalodouka and e) the IWTCR staff – Argyris Koskoros, Eleftheria Binikou, Maria Spanou, Nancy Tryposkoufi. The musicians Thanasis Verdelis, saxophonist, and Kostas Stavrianakis, guitarist, performed music during the event.
