Discussion on the novel “The Leopard” [“Il gattopardo”] by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa translated by Maria Spyridopoulou (editions Bell, 2017). The novel was first published in 1958 and since then it has been among the most important novels of the Italian and the world literature. In 2005 Maria Spyridopoulou was awarded a prize for her translation into Greek by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
