Tuesday 14 November 2017, at 19.30, Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Rhodes (Evangelismos). The Municipality of Rhodes, the International Writers and Translators’ Center of Rhodes and the “Rodion Pedia” School organized the world premiere of the oratorio for narrators, choir, soloists and piano written and composed by the poet Dimitris I. Brouhos based on the life of Konstantinos from Hydra, the New Martyr, entitled “For a burning soul… Konstantinos from Hydra, the New Martyr.” Narrators: Grigoris Valtinos, Dimitris I. Brouhos. Soloists: Mary Doutsi, Fokion Barbokas. Piano score: Giorgos Xanthopoulos. Choirs: “Arion” Youth Choirand “Rodion Emmelia” Adult Choir, “Rodion Pedia” School, under the supervision of Evanthia Kritikou. The event was held under the auspices of the Holy Metropolis of Rhodes.
